Already have a beautiful website? Keep it. Make it bookable by AI assistants.
You built your brand, your site and maybe your own booking engine. Threshold doesn't replace any of it. It adds what your site can't do on its own: let an AI assistant find your places, check your live dates, quote your exact price and send you a booking request, under your name.
Three layers, all optional except the first
Start your listing from your website's address: Threshold reads it and fills in the details and photos. Connect your calendar, set your prices, and assistants connected to Threshold can search, quote and send you booking requests. Your logo and name lead every listing page.
Most beautiful sites say very little to an assistant. A WordPress plugin, or one line of code for Wix and Squarespace, labels each place with its details and current starting price, and adds an llms.txt guide for assistants. Point it at your own booking page, and assistants send guests straight into the booking engine you already use.
Show your booking pages on an address of your own, with only your brand. It also publishes the open Vacation Rental Protocol files, so an AI agent can ask your domain itself for a signed live price and availability.
Already use a booking engine? Keep it.
- Nothing changes for your website visitors. They keep booking through your engine.
- One calendar link each way. Your system's export into Threshold, and Threshold's link into your system, so a booking anywhere closes the dates everywhere.
- You approve every request that comes through an assistant, unless you turn on instant booking.
- Works alongside OwnerRez, Lodgify, Hostaway, Guesty, Hospitable, ResNexus and other systems that give a calendar export link.
Questions hosts ask
Do I have to replace my website or booking engine?
No. Your website and your booking engine stay exactly as they are, and website visitors keep booking the way they do now. Threshold is the channel for AI assistants: bookings that come through an assistant connected to Threshold arrive as requests you approve, or instantly if you turn instant booking on.
How do calendars stay in step?
Paste one calendar export link from your booking system into Threshold; your system already combines bookings from every channel, so one link covers everything. Then add Threshold's calendar link to your system as an imported calendar, so a Threshold booking closes those dates everywhere. Threshold re-reads your calendar every 30 minutes and again before every quote, and you confirm each request.
Where do I set prices?
You enter your rates on Threshold once, and its demand pricing can adjust them from there. Threshold doesn't read prices from other systems yet, so if you change rates in your own system, change them on Threshold too.
How are guests paid for?
Bookings made through Threshold are paid on Threshold's secure checkout, by Stripe, into your account. Bookings on your website keep going through your own booking engine.
Will guests see Threshold's name?
Your name and logo lead your listing pages, and on an address of your own (book.yourdomain.com) only your brand shows. Threshold appears as the secure booking and payment behind it.
What does it cost?
Setting up is free, with nothing to install and no subscription needed. You pay only the standard card processing fee when a guest pays through Threshold. An optional plan, Threshold Plus, adds AI video for $19 a month.
