Money is in cents. Search is cached; a quote re-reads the host's booking-site calendar and is the only binding price. Errors are application/problem+json with a stable code.

How booking works during the beta

Bookings are requests. The host accepts or declines within the listing's response window (1–24 hours), then contacts the guest to arrange payment. Nothing is charged through Threshold yet. Tell guests this plainly, and show them the quote's house rules before setting house_rules_accepted.
